How It Works

From your camera roll to a film your family will keep forever

You don’t need perfect footage or a plan. You bring the memories and the love; we bring the storytelling, the filming, and the craft.

The Process

Five simple steps to your film

A conversation about your pet

We start with a relaxed discovery call. Tell us about your pet’s personality, your family, the moments that matter, and the occasion (if there is one). We’ll recommend the film that fits your story.

Gather the memories

We collect your photographs, phone videos, and home footage through a simple, secure upload, no organizing required. Old formats, odd sizes, shaky clips: all welcome. The imperfect stuff is often the most honest.

Filming day & interviews

Depending on your film, we capture beautiful present-day footage of your pet and family, at home, at the park, wherever your life together happens, along with short, natural interviews that give the film its voice.

The edit

This is where the story takes shape. We blend your archive with new footage, weave in music and interviews, and structure it all into an emotionally satisfying film, with a preview cut and a round of revisions included.

The premiere

Your finished film is delivered in a private online screening room, ready to share with family, plus downloadable files that are yours to keep forever. Gift films can be timed and packaged for the big reveal.

What We Work With

Whatever you have is enough

Phone footage blended with beautifully filmed present-day moments; that contrast is part of what makes these films feel true.

Your archive

Photos, phone videos, old camcorder tapes, social media clips, from any era, in any condition. We digitize, restore, and color-match what needs it.

New footage

Professionally filmed present-day moments: your routines, your pet’s favorite places, the little details: paws, collars, toys, sleeping spots.

Your voices

Short, comfortable interviews with the people who love them. A few honest sentences give the film its heart, no script needed.

Investment

Films for every story and budget

Three cinematic packages, from a short portrait to a full documentary-style legacy film, plus gift certificates for any of them. See what’s included and find the one that fits your story.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Everything you may be wondering about, answered plainly. Still curious? We’re always happy to talk it through.

What if my photos and videos are old, blurry, or a mess?

That’s completely normal, and it’s welcome. Old camcorder tapes, tiny phone clips, screenshots, faded prints: we digitize, restore, and color-match whatever needs it. The imperfect footage is often the most honest and moving part of the film. You don’t need to sort or organize anything first.

How many photos or how much video do I need to provide?

Whatever you have is enough. Some families send a handful of favorite photos; others share years of clips. During your discovery call we’ll give you a simple sense of what works best for your film, and our secure upload makes sending everything easy, no matter the format or file size.

Do you film new footage, or only use what I already have?

Both, depending on the film you choose. Most of our films blend present-day footage we shoot of your pet and family with the archive you provide. If you’d prefer a film built entirely from your existing memories, or one focused on a beautifully filmed day together, we can do that too.

How do I know which film is right for me?

That’s exactly what the discovery call is for. Tell us about your pet, your family, and the occasion, and we’ll recommend the film that fits your story and your budget. There’s no pressure and no obligation. You can also compare what’s included in each package on our Pricing page.

How long is the finished film?

It depends on the package, generally from a short one-to-two-minute cinematic portrait up to a five-to-seven-minute life story film, plus vertical clips you can share on social media. Every film is edited to feel complete rather than padded, so the length always serves the story.

How long does the whole process take?

Most films are ready within a few weeks of your filming day and once we’ve received your memories. Timelines vary with the package and the season, so we’ll give you a clear estimate up front. If you have a birthday, holiday, or gift deadline, let us know and we’ll plan around it.

Do you travel, or film on location?

Yes. We come to you: at home, at the park, at the beach, or wherever your life together happens. Those familiar places are where your pet is most themselves, and it shows on camera. Reach out and we’ll confirm the details for your area.

Can you create a film for a pet who has passed away?

Yes, with care and patience. Our remembrance films are made gently, on your timeline, with no rush. Some families reach out right away, others years later. Whenever you’re ready to celebrate the life you shared, we’re here to help you tell it well.

Can I give a film as a surprise or a gift?

Absolutely. Gift films and gift certificates are some of our most meaningful projects. We’ll coordinate with you discreetly so the reveal stays a surprise, and we can time delivery for a birthday, anniversary, or holiday.

How will I receive my film, and can I share it?

Your finished film is delivered in a private online screening room, ready to share with family and friends, along with downloadable files that are yours to keep forever. Every package also includes a preview cut and a round of revisions, so we can adjust the music, pacing, or moments until it feels right to you.

Ready to begin?

The first step is just a conversation. Tell us about your pet, and we’ll take it from there.
